When I am sad I cry, 2019
Video (Duration: 03:51')
As part of The Objects I Follow / The Stories I Swallow, Tentacles Gallery, Bangkok, Thailand.
“When I Am Sad I Cry” explores the relationship between myself and my body in the situation of crying. The action involves myself supporting a small shell in my palms under water and the shell dancing on my hands as the seawater flows by, and was shot in Nai Plao beach, South of Thailand. The text was written shortly after my abortion in 2018.
