  1. "Cross the bridge when we come to it" (2017)
    Duration: 15 minutes
Gerðarsafn Kópavogur Art Museum, Kópavogur, Iceland

This is a duration installation taken place on the bridge linking the two gallery spaces at Gerðarsafn, which has closable doors on both sides. I closed off the bridge and placed dry ice on it, and then poured hot water to create a thin layer of white steam flowing and leaking out of the bridge like a small piece of heaven, completely isolated. Everything was taken down afterwards to return the bridge into its original purpose for commuting between two gallery spaces. Audiences sat on the stairs on the opposite to view the performance like a in theatre. This was an attempt to create a phenomenon that audiences could understand immediately as something that will only happen once in our lives and that we are present to witness and share the moment together.
