"Phonographing Aurora" (2015)

Sound recording of the first time my friend Alex and I saw the aurora in Iceland in 2015. In fact, the aurora was so faint that it was not visible with bare eyes, only through long exposure on camera lens. We bumped into a photographer from Hong Kong who was kindly helping us with photographing aurora with the correct settings. The recording captured what cannot be seen at the moment but revealed from our excitement everytime a long exposed image came out from the camera display screen when the northern lights became visible.

The recording was played in an empty black room with a chandelier.
